FACP 2026 MANILA CONFERENCE CONNECTS ASIA THROUGH THE PERFORMING ARTS

The Federation for Asian Cultural Promotion (FACP) 2026 Manila Conference successfully brought together artists, cultural leaders, producers, presenters, and arts organizations from across Asia and beyond for four days of dialogue, artistic exchange, and professional networking from September 9 to 12 at Adamson University in Manila. Carrying the theme “Performing Arts: Beyond the Next Stage,” the conference explored emerging opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the performing arts.

The conference’s symposium provided a platform for regional and international practitioners to exchange perspectives on the future of the sector, navigating uncertainty, arts touring and promotion, and building audiences for the years ahead. These conversations highlighted the importance of collaboration and cross-border exchange in strengthening the performing arts ecosystem.

Artistic exchange was further enriched by Asian Gems in the Arts, featuring outstanding young performing artists from different countries, and Pitch for New Aspects, which gave artists and creative practitioners an opportunity to present new projects and ideas to an international community of arts professionals. Together, these programs showcased the diversity of Asian talent while opening opportunities for professional connections and future collaborations.

Held alongside the Manila International Performing Arts Market (MIPAM) 2026, the FACP Manila Conference contributed to a significant convergence of artists and cultural professionals in the Philippines. Building on the country’s previous hosting of FACP in 2019, the successful 2026 gathering further strengthened Manila’s role as a platform for artistic exchange, regional networking, and collaboration across Asia.
